Answers to common questions
We’ve compiled a list of answers to common questions.
- Are linen and Towels provided?
Yes, linen and towels are provided for a fee of $30.00 for queen beds and $20 for single bed. This would amount to $110.00 for all the beds to be made up. Of course you may provide your own linen and towels if you wish to avoid paying a fee.
For rentals in excess of 5 days duration all linen and towel provision is covered in the tariff.
Bath mats and tea towels are automatically provided (as people tend to forget these) and there are adequate blankets, doonas and pillows.
Don’t forget to bring beach towels.
- What dates do you consider to be Holidays?
We structure our rates around NSW School Holiday dates. We have holidays and public holidays clearly marked in our Availability Calendar.
- When do the seasons begin and end in Australia?
We understand many of our visitors are from abroad and so we’ve compiled the seasons and corresponding months for you:
Summer – December, January, February
Autumn – March, April, May
Winter – June, July, August
Spring – September, October, November

- We will be travelling by train. Is there a local station?
Stanwell Park has a train station just 20 minutes walk away. If you have packed lightly you can easily walk to the Cottage. For more info visit Sydney Trains .
